Intermediate Sessions

The Intermediate sessions expand on the introduction to Drama and LAMDA experienced in the Junior sessions. The children participate in more complex vocal warm-ups, Drama games and exercises that develop Drama skills and techniques. Again as in the Junior sessions, self-confidence and articulation of self are a focus as well as the use of improvisation and guided improvisation to analyse and develop characters whilst diminishing inhibitions.

All children are able to study for LAMDA examinations within the sessions and there are 10 sessions per term.

Communication and social skills are an integral part of all the sessions and children are encouraged to self reflect and learn how to impact their learning and progress independently.
