Within the senior Sessions, Drama and LAMDA are experienced in a much more complex and in-depth delivery. The students participate in a variety of different activities, discussions and exercises that develop Drama skills and techniques at a more mature and advanced level.
They are encouraged to analyse behaviours and body language and psychological patterning that relates to characters and situations and apply these to performance. Again as in all other sessions, self-confidence and articulation of self are a focus as well as understanding how and why to diminish inhibitions when performing.
All children are able to study for LAMDA examinations within the sessions and there are 10 sessions per term.
Communication and social skills are an integral part of all the sessions and children are encouraged to self reflect and learn how to impact their learning and progress independently.
